Maybe say a bit about why i'm here.

Well..used to love laser pens ash a kid, so it a revisit to the world of laser pens .

I'm a engineer in security systems and have interest in eletronics.

Went to buy parts to build a kit i had seen on i-hacked.com

So, got to the heat sink made by Dark Horse Custom and sent them a email.

Got a reply from Someone (wont say name incase i cant for some reason) and i was told
to speak to JayRob.

Well now i'm here, lol. Wanna build one of these but need some more knowlage or what i build will last 5 mins and be crappy. Don't want that !

And don't any as of yet

Read everything you can on subjects of interest. I read for at least 300 hours before I attempted my first build. (and still don't know 10% of what some people on this forum know. LOL
