Just wanted to say HI. I am from WV and i have been a member on here since 2008 but just recently purchesed and built my first laser last week. I have always been interested in lasers. But still have much to learne. I have been into RC Helicopters for around 8yrs and just recently decided to take a break from that hobby.

I am 38yrs old and do construction as my job. I just built my own home about 3yrs ago.
Anyway i am glad to be a member at LPF!!

So where in WV, I grew up in Charleston, well I lived there until I was 12 after I moved from TX then Michigan.. pointless information but ya know.
 
I grew up in Parkersburg. But now i live in a little town called Hundred. It is about 40min outside of Morgantown where WVU is located.

I have been doing alot of reading on here. And will continue to. I think it will be awhile before i try to build a scanner but i will be trying to make the tunnel and liquid sky with the little motors and mirrors soon. I think i will try to make one of those spring powered ones first. They look pretty simple to build and look like they make some really nice random shapes.
 
Cool! I am not familiar with Harpers Ferry. I have heard of it but not real sure where it is in the state. I will have to look it up.
 
Thanks, I am glad to be finally taking an actual part here. I found this forum a couple years ago and just recently did my first build last week and am planning 2 more builds this weekend.
