Hi,
i want to say Hello to all Laser-Fans here.
At first....my english is very bad.....because the schooltime was happend 30 years ago ;)
My Laser-Fever started with a present from a friend....a Green-Laserpointer 535 nm and a Power of maybe 20mW. This was the starting point for me to creat my owen Lasers......but with more power for burning things :D
I have a workshop with tools such as E.g. a milling machine, lathe and WIG/TIG- Inverter and make my own construct for Laser-housing, cooling and LD-Driver.
At the moment i work with the 2W, M-140 Blue 445nm Laserdiode, a 3,5+ Diode is waiting for here job and .......a lot of conceptions are in my head.

Ok...that`s enough for the moment :D

thank`s for your regards.......and i`m sure, that i need your help in the next time.
At the moment i want to upload a gallery of pics with all steps of the different varios of the heatsink, my first BlueRay 405nm with ??? maybe 250-300mW and a Red Open Can with 635nm and the same power (i have stil no measuring instrument).

Now i have some projects running.....first a 2W with the M140 Laser Diode and Analog Driver to control the Power, mounted in a Aluminium housing.... but the Diode in a massiv Copper Holding Fixture.....mounted in a "Gun carriage" and controlled by a RC 4-channel remote control. One cannel for left and right, one for up and down and the third one for the Fokus. I converted the Servos to a Motor-Funktion, so they can run 360° and the speed is variable. The hole constuction metal and with ball bearings.:lasergun:

I want to control the Laser-Beam / Burning-Point to a distance about 10 Meters :drool::rolleyes:

I know....i am cracy......but the Laser is the solution looking for a problem :wave:

..also gelernt habe ich mal "Maschinenschlosser" im Weltgrößten Chemiekonzern, der hier in Ludwigshafen seinen Stammsitz hat. Danach Weiterbildung bis zum Industriemeister Fachrichtung Chemie.....und arbeiten tue ich als Schichtmeister in der Produktion von SAN-Kunststoffen, d.h. wir polymerisieren mit Styrol, Acrylnitril und Ethylbenzol in einer Exothermen Reaktion das ganze zu Transparenten Kunststoffen, welche im KFZ-Bau, für Medizinische Geräte sowie auch als Haushaltsartikeln, verwendung finden. Wir stellen nur das Rohprodukt, also Granulate...teilweise noch in gefärbter Ausführung her, und der Kunde stellt im Spritzgießverfahren dann Formteile her.

Hobbymäßig mache ich halt alles mögliche......z.B. RC-Hubschrauber,Crawler .... Metallbearbeitung und etwas Elektrotechnik, Schießsport und Motorrad fahren, etwas Techno mit Roland MC-909/505 usw. ...... hab ne gut ausgestattete Werkstatt und versuche, soweit möglich, alles selbst zu bauen und nicht zu kaufen :D
....warum ich das mache ??? Ich versuche mein Gehirn am Leben zu halten und möchte der Verdummung entgegen wirken....... welche in der Gesellschaft leider rasend zunimmt :eg:

Und die Laser.....ja die faszinieren mich schon immer und zur Zeit bin ich voll auf dem Konstruktions-Trip und baue immer stärkere Laser in neuen Gehäusen.
Muß mir aber jetzt noch stärkere Netzteile bauen, da die LD-Ströme immer höher werden bei niederen Spannungen....... und da machen meine Netzteile nicht mehr mit. Aber zum Glück können meine LiPo-Akkus mit 7,4 Volt (8,4V) sehr hohe Ströme liefern.
