well i finally decided and went for the nintendo wii over ps3 and xbox 360.. i am a classic gamer and want to be able to play oldschool games , so the virtual console feature was just right

also im a mario kart addict so i couldn't live with getting a gaming system that doesn;t suppot mario kart lol

if anyone else has a wii and would like to play online sometime just send me an email lol, althojugh mario kart is only game i have and i am prob. awful at it compared to rest of u guys lol
 





Congratulations on the purchase c0ld, in my opinion you chose the right console! I love the Wii (even though I don't have one myself.. don't have a TV) - it's by far the best fun when you have friends over because even noobs can join in to some extent and it is really good for multiplayer.

the wii is the only nintendo system i havent purchased

nes-about 300 games -works great

super nintendo-50 games-needs power pack

n-64-25 games-works perfectly

gamecube -40 games works perfectly

PC FTW Indeed. So it's PC: 2, Ps3: 1, Wii: 1. So PC>all XD. Pc is the best system when it comes to online playing, but consoles are fun too. As for your purchase, Cold, it's a nice deal! I 've got a nintendo gamecube only, I pot modded it and can play backups!
 
I love my PC, mainly because I've spent so much on it lol but the performance beats any console.

Whenever I use a console though it's the xbox, it's fair superior. I own a wii but got bored after a week or two, such an effort to use it lol.
 
One of the best things about a Wii IMO is that it is unique.. I have not bought any consoles since my N64 many many years ago because I could play superior FPS, driving and online games on my PC at all times, but I would consider a Wii partly because it is great fun when you have friends around, and partly because it would be a change from PC games.
I don't really play more than 4-5 hours of video games each month but it would still be fun to have one..

Now that you have a Wii go order a mod chip so you can play "backup" copies of your expensive games. :beer:

I install mod chips in all my game consoles FTW. :crackup:

lmao WOW! have you ever seen a ps3 on a 1080i tv? it definately is the superior console. i own both... the only reason i got an xbox to begin with was to mod it. the only game i have for it is cod4.... other than that all the games i have are for ps3...

does the 360 let you hook a printer up? does the 360 have a web browser? does the 360 allow you to install an operating system? does the 360 allow you to upgrade the hdd with something that wasnt bought from microsoft? ...didnt think so...

atm my ps3 has the old 120gb hdd that used to be in my laptop... and i can still play online and not get banned!!! try THAT with a 360!

the ps3 is far superior...

You should get it chipped or modded, it would allow you play back ups of games and if you like the game you can purcahse it, if not your not out any $$.
