FS: Beam Dump/Terminator






nah....i'm just waiting for my instructor to give us the go ahead and i'll be swamped.....
 
Beautiful DIY Mohrenberg, looks very professional!

Out of curiosity, is high temp paint reflective? I would have preferred something like a Elbow copper pipe where a small mirror would reflect the beam up and otherwise preventing any part of the the beam from scattering out of the dump :)
 
When it's wet it's VERY reflective lol, but once it's dry it's a very matte finish and doesn't reflect much at all.
Just a very diffuse glow is emitted from the surface.

Not very scientific, but I can look into the dump at the dot without straining my eyes or being hit with reflections.

ahh, thank you for the explanation. I've personally never worked with high temp paint, so I was not able to ascertain its exact properties. :)
 
If only the dump could suspend in midair by itself. Then you got yourself a lightsaber.

I updated the price with a price drop. These aren't as "needed" as i thought so i'll lower the price to get rid of them.
they are $10 ea. right now and I've got 18 left.
 
Ahh, I should have waited before buying one. Look forward to getting mine. I plan on using it with my lower powered green but do you know how well it would work with a 1w 445?
