THIS IS SOLD

Hello I am selling a laser i just built. It is a 445nm 2W+ in a guidesman host. It was built with an a140 diode and dual flexdrives. Drivers were heatsinked to a coin for long duty cycles (I have run it for 5 minutes with no problems).

Host looks like this:

Meter test (sorry my meter only goes to 2W):

I am selling this for $300USD. This includes the laser with an aixiz lens (add $50 if you want the g-1, although not worth the sacrifice of beam/dot specs IMO). It also includes tracked expedited shipping to US (4 days) or Canada (2days) you can PM for international. It also includes a high draw battery. I can ship the battery separate at no extra cost if you are worried about customs, but that is your choice (I have had no problems before).

PM if you are interested or have questions

I want this. What type of batter does it take and charger, because I will need to order that for it. Also the g-1 lens, will it make alot of difference?

Remember to buy safety glasses! if this is your first laser you need to know safety protocol for this type and power of laser. You must be carefull.

I'd like to put in a good work for the seller. I bought a 1.9W build with this same host. Very high quality/satisfying laser!

Do you guys recommend the g-1 lens? I want to see full power but I don't know if 200mW is going to be real noticeable

my 1983mW 2d mag from DTR was $225..... and all the parts for my build is much much higher than that build.... You can get everything in that guidesman build for $150 give or take a few bucks... so $150 for about an hour worth of work? thats pretty high in my book...

You would pay 300 for an arctic and it would only be around 700mw and is not as good quality. Not everyone has the skills or time to do a custom build, so 300 is not bad JMO.

Just to clarify a little. That was one of the special Christmas deals I did for the forum. Like my $37 diodes special. That price is near cost. It would normally be a lot more. Plus not all diodes can do 2W so the ones that can will go for more.;)

Yeah but if you pay $300 for an arctic ur just plain nuts IMO hahah

Wasn't trying to put anyone down or anything it was a simple comment... Which I shall
Leave alone now

It's all good. It's a done deal. But yeah for a 2w not a bad price. I don't have the time to build one right now, I may in the future and for someone who doesn't do this for a hobby I think it's aight. If it's not a good deal then I'll learn a lesson but I think it will be considering the output and time put into it. I'm new to this and I paid $50 and loved it!! for a 200mw possibly less so $300 for a 2+W is aight. Now if this thing fails or breaks in a short time there will be some explaining to do ;) This is a toy to me as far as price... I work at an oil/lubricant plant so it's not killin my wallet. My project right now is a 1970 Nova with a 2002 silverado 5.3lsx motor that's turbocharged!!! Should make close to 750hp!! Now that thing Is a money discussion!!! Maybe the laser is overpriced and maybe not, but with that said you can close this discussion. Thanks I hope this laser rocks!!
