I'm getting rid of all my laser related goodies in preparation of leaving the forum. it all must go and I'm not going to make a penny on any of it. I want out and don't wanna deal with it any more. So, if you want it, it's yours for the cost of shipping alone.

first up:
Heatsinks purchased for the Kenometer Thermopile. These are designed to fit on the sides and increase thermal efficiency. I never got around to finishing the project. You can fit four around the periphery. top, bottom and sides. I have a total of 45 of these. However many a person wants is however many a person gets. Shipping is $5.95 for a flat rate box inside the con/us and $14.95 outside.

Next is fuse and fuse holders.
I have 5 of these. Same as above. No cost but shipping.

Power supplies. These have 5v, +12v, -12v and all operate on 120/220v wiring diagram is here:

I have 2 of these.

power connectors for the psu
I have a total of 4 of these.

Potentiometers with all the required hardware including knobs. (GONE)
value is unknown at this time and honestly I couldn't care less. They are free and I'm not going to take the time to measure them.


Rocker switches. These are fairly big so don't get one if your need is for small.

Combine multiple things in one box is a good idea to save on shipping. To give you an example. Say you want 1 psu, 1 fuse holder, 1 power plug, 1 switch, and 4 heatsinks. Your total cost in shipping would be $5.95 con/us or $14.95 international.

Most of these components were for meter related stuff. They are perfect for powering a thermopile that requires +/-12v as well as 5v for a panel meter. Fuse to protect it, power plug to get power to it, and an on/off switch. Since I will never be building another meter and never plan on taking anyones money off this forum again, they have to go free.

It'll be sad to see you go! I've seen some of your work on the forum and you seem like a giant contributor the the forum.

forgot to include pp fees. If you send me a payment it will deduct 3% and I'll no longer be able to mail the package so either send it as a gift (which has no fees) or include the 3%. Which on $5.95 is $.19 and on $14.95 is $.45

But as was said, it really does suck to see this :/ A couple years ago people loved you and your work, and they still do, especially your work. It sucks to see you go out like this :/ Good luck getting back on your feet. Although it is a bit concerning.....the whole giving away everything you have part, it's a big sign of....well to keep this forum friendly, I will just stop now. Still puts me on edge. Hang in there man, everything will work out in the end, I guarantee it, plus if you need someone to talk to, or a vent, I'm available, kinda glued to my comp, so feel free to send me a PM :)

Nobody needs worry about me doing anything to myself. I have had a horrible last year and depression and such has been a factor in what's going on in the last year, but I would never EVER consider doing anything harmful to myself or anyone else. I've got children that rely on me too much.

I do appreciate the concern and consideration. It does not go unnoticed. I've just got more important things in my life now than lasers.

Again, my apologies, I'll keep it strictly to PMs from here on out.

As for the sale, it's wonderful that you're giving back, even though you've done so many times in the past, it's nice to see it happen again. I myself never owned a Kenometer, or any LPM for that matter, but I still see people using it, and doing readings on it and seeing it in their sigs, so that's a good sign. These parts should do an excellent job renovating those that are out and about and keeping them running. Cheers on your new life mate, I hope it all goes well for you :beer:
 
We are getting down to the wire here.. Very few items remaining. I will update the list of whats remaining as soon as I tally up what's been taken and what hasn't. I can say that all the heatsinks are gone pending payment for shipping.

Here is what has been taken and by whom.
Goldendragon : 4 sinks 4 pots.

Rodman1369 : 8 sinks, 2 psu's, 2 plugs, 2 fuse holders, 2 switches, and 2 potentiometers.

tsteele93 : 3 psu's, 3 plugs, 3 fuse holders, 3 switches, 3 potentiometers, 3 sinks.

Potentiometer for sure are all spoken for. Psu's I think have only one remaining same with switches and fuse holders.

Bennett326 : all remaining items other than Heatsinks which remainder goes to zdarkazn

Thanks for all that have taken this stuff off my hands. Pending payment on a few people so keep your eyes open tomorrow for non-pays or cancels.

i took 1 psu 2 pots 2 knobs and 2 switches

so subtract those from what you have left ...

edit**** just saw your pm make that 3 power connectors and 2 heatsinks instead :thanks:

Ok, just because these items are gone, don't give up on this thread. As I go through my stuff, I will be posting more. Like next up on teh block is

FS Mirrors. These big honkers are about 1.5" x 1.5" x .5" and have a highly reflective side and a plain mirror side. I have a total of 5 of these and they go one to a home. No more than 1. They will fit in a smaller package so shipping on these are $3 each con/us and $9 international.
 
Next up on the block is a Mels Griot HeNe laser. There is a catch to this one. There is NO PSU. and I dearly wanted to at least see this thing function prior to sending it to a new home. So, the catch is, you gotta have a PSU that you can send to me so I can power it up and behold it's coherent goodness before I send it on to you. There is a posibility this thing doesn't even work, so it's a gamble all around.. but I promise I will take good care of whoever's PSU. I know this is kinda odd to ask this, but I've never seen a HeNe working and this one was supposed to be a special polarized laser. Plus, I will pay shipping both ways.
