Feedback on open source laser cutter

Hi everyone,

Let me start of by saying this is about a project we launched on Kickstarter and I am the creator; however, this is not a marketing ploy! *I'm going around to a couple forums to ask people to give us some feedback. *After the Kickstarter is funded, it will be a completely free and open project so I wanted to start talking to experts like you so we can build a community of contributing folks. *Let me know if you think this project fills a good place in the open source world and if you have any feedback on it. *Thanks!

Will this be able to do grayscale images like some of the laser engravers?

It will! The newest version of the 0.9 GRBL firmware rearranged the pinout on the Arduino and now supports pulse width modulation instead of just on/off. I'm going to play around with it soon and release it as an update. Should attract a few more folks!
