which ones did you get? I did manage to dump my buddy's Metro PCS . . . they also seem to work better in Canadia . . . ;)

The portable ones are the same as yours. I also got the 300ft radius one you mount on the wall or in your car ;)

Have you tuned yours? or are you using them with the default settings for the 3 bands??

For tuning I used one of these 50-2.4GHz Signal Digital Protable Frequency Counter e - eBay (item 150481853198 end time Aug-25-10 05:30:58 PDT)

Cover two antennas at a time with foil and read / tune the uncovered ant. Repeat for each band...

Also look up your location and providers. Find what frequency they use.

Just remember in the US, owning one can get you in trouble. Disruption of a paid service can get you in hot water.

I reserve mine for blasting the idiot in front of me on the road who forgets how to drive...
 
no I haven't tuned mine, kicking myself for selling my old HP 53xx freq counter 15 years ago . . . not sure if I want to pony up for one or just buy a better higher power device . . .

oh wow that is a cheap freq counter !

So just having one in the US = trouble?
