Hello, this is john, the owner of priceangels

I am here only to find the friend who have asked me for over 200mw green 18650 lasers.

Now, the good news is, we have gotten some after months of unyielding try, but not too many.

500 mw 18650 green laser ($194.37,)

The bad news is, I can't remember the name of the one who asked for it.
And more, it is a bit expensive, albeit I have cut my interest to the extreme . If you see this thread, and if you still have interested in it, please tell me.

Thanks

reliable john

If you could please put up pictures and a video of it on a power meter. Some video's of it burning would be nice also.
Thanks.

first line of the ad says

"500mw wavelength"

wavelength is 532nm, output is 500mw.

also you mention 470mw in the ad, yet the photos show 343/348.

is it 500mw including IR ? so ~350mw green?

:P

If it puts out 350mW in reality.....why the hell are you advertising it as a 500mW...? Just advertise the legitimate outputs and you may get yourself out of the "cheap china laser" category. Imagine if places like optotronics did that crap..

These are rated 500mW by the manufacturer, John has measured these on a LPM and it selling them for their actual power. If that bugs you, then go shop at DX where they do nothing to ensure quality. At least John is trying.
the photo shows a peak of 348mW, so i bet it's going to easily drop and stabilize somewhere in the 200's, which is what hes selling it for in this thread.

Moh, well there's also this:

John, how many of these have you tested?
If you have around 5 or more units on stock, would you be bothered to test all of them and post all results here in this thread?

So we can see what's the average of these particular models.

On his website he is advertising it at 500mW, not their actual power. That is what I am talking about.

He lists the manufacturer rating by default as not ALL lasers are tested. It would be unfair to have some changed and others not.

Also Nvidia PhysX is awesome, yes. Got my GTX470 Sli set up and laying the beatdown on any game woohoo. Can't wait for the 570.

physx: you'll also find them listed as 500mW on other sites.
If you'd prefer, you can buy the same thing on dino direct for 50% off right now!!!!
Only $678!!!

They title has a typo, but i'm sure their laser is flawless, coming in over spec for sure even though it's made by the same company....

What can I say, I'm a PC geek at heart.

So what does this have to do with this thread? It looks a little like SPAM!
If it is spam you will get :banned:

Just explaining my familiarity with PhysX in the same post I explain him something about lasers. If this forum is religious about not mentioning other hobbies than by all means ban both of us?

I don't want any more posts about my comment on PhysX's name, PLEASE.

This thread is about lasers not software! If you want to talk about computer stuff go to the Geeks Corner section.
