DX 30mW Order - Delays - Now Fixed!!! :-D

Hi,

Just to let you know, I ordered my green true 30mW laser from DX 3 weeks ago, and it's been processing for all that time. I spoke to Kathy@DX yesterday, and she said she's sorry, and I could cancel or wait. I then told her I would wait, that is WHY I ordered in the first place!

She did offer a 'free gift' for waiting, so I'll see if that appears! It's probably a cow-light.....

Guess what happend today! My Order shipped :-D
Now I can't wait!

Usually I wouldn't post such a dull story, but I know there are a few people on here in the same boat. Perhaps they could push DX a bit (via the ticket support system) and they might get their laser in the next few days....???

DX is the best ;D

I got my True 5mW in three weeks from ordering it and my True 30mW about 26 days after.

For non-laser stuff, they are usually pretty good. I guess it must be the demand. Not a problem though....

There's always the ~$15 for EMS express! But then all you get is a box with a nice little letter from customs instead of a laser...

I doubt the actual delay is due to shipping really.. mostly if something from DX takes long, its because of processing and such. Even with the free shipping option, once its actually sent, i get them in about a week from HK to europe.

EMS might shave a few days off that, but hardly worth the cost or risk of customs confication.

Got it today!!!! Whoooooooo......

It actually arrived yesterday, but no one was in, so I had to pick it up at the sorting office today.

BUT: It's amazing! I haven't tried setting fire to anything, but you can see the beam! It's not bad in daylight - more like a faint trace, but in darkness, it stands out a bit more, add fog; now you're talking!!!!!

Anyway... DX is the best! (Before someone says the lasers are cheap crap - this one will do until I get a Nova!)

The most I've ever had to wait is 14 days for dealextreme to deliver so free shipping works for me. Anyway it's not as if I'm laserless I've got plenty in my toy box and will never stop collecting them in all shapes and forms

Yeah, the delivery for other items I've got from DX doesn't worry me, I just order a wait. But with my 1st green laser, things were different!

I never did get the 'gift' she promised. I'm not going to hold it against them, I paid for a laser, and I got a laser, a good deal if you ask me!
