double sided thermal tape or thermal epoxy works

if your driver gets warm then you need one. if it doesnt well...

The best way to attach them is to use Artic silver it's non conductive for electricity but passes the heat very well...
it'a always time for a heatsink when laser diodes are involved !

I understand artic silver, but attack the heat sync directly to the board, or to the aixiz module?

THANKS!

ps. heres what im ordering if you think it will suffice! Just as a first time try
Aixiz Module with diode
HighTechDealZ - 650nm 20x DVD Burner LPC815 Laser in Aixiz Module

Driver
Micro-Drive V3 adjustable driver (assembled) - $13.00 : rkcstr.com, Micro-Drive and laser diode electronics

That should be just over 200Mw right? Not bad for a first attempt i figure!
