Compatable Hosts?

Hello!

I am not exactly a newbie when it comes to laser building, but I have only worked with drivers that have gone in a pill. I am looking to buy this diode:

I would like to know what hosts can fit the X-Drive, preferably in a ~50$ budget, and I would like it nice and chunky so i can run it for a long time without it heating up too much. Thanks!

Pretty much any host would work, you would just need a battery contact board to wire the driver to. Certain hosts, like the C6, would be more difficult, but doable.

I've got mine encased in a copper heatsink that weighs over a troy lb, and it still gets warm fairly quickly. without active cooling you really cant get a very long duty cycle on these, it's just too much power, these suckers get hot fast

the driver on mine just barely fit in the pill of my Dominator, they are bigger drivers than most. have fun and be safe

Yeah, I think I'm gonna drop this idea and stick to the laser I already have, and just upgrade the host.
