Apple size: small to medium
Apple taste: acceptable
Burn-through time: 2 minutes or less
Fumes odor: disagreeable

You guys are making my life difficult...:D i had to hold the vacuum cleaner hose while the thing was burnin thru to evacuate the smoke, i barely had a free hand,besides, burning takes place within the apple, there is nothing interesting going on on the outside Anyway, i'll see what i can do.

PS. This time it was an apple, next time it will be an apple device.

by the way, the fumes of that smell much, much worse than the apples. burning plastic is a bad idea in poorly ventilated premise, of course.

Ya know, you would have much better luck shrinking the apple if you put a baseball in between the laser and the apple. Too much heat and all.

I have two- one ф18, fL56mm and one ф20, FL101mm. needless to say, burning performance is spectacular, but microvulcanic eruptions of molten stuff and smoke are too much for the lens without ventilation
 
How important is the apples taste in this experiment? :crackup: Funniest thing I have seen all day.
