Hey i got $50 i i want to buy a laser, any offers? i would really like something that can burn, i know its asking a lot, but every time i get something the diode explodes so i would like something professionally made with a driver preferably.

Look around for a DX 200 red... you should be able to get one in your price range...

$50 for a user built burning laser is really cheap.

The diode cost about $15
Host & Heatsink $20+
Driver $10+
Batteries $5+
Shipping $5
PayPal fees 10%
Miscellaneous $5

Total: $60+ just to make the laser, now factor in time and other expenses.

A DX 200 (Dilda) is about the only thing in your budget.
