Just FYI, thanks to everyone who helped round up my laser and get it to me. I received it Saturday and really like the pattern generating add-on. I am trying to disable the annoying aperture safety device that ends up closing at the wrong times.

Otherwise, loving it. I haven't put it on a LPM yet, but it easily burns anything with no effort.

The tail caps of JETLASERS Pl-Cs and a few other models had these tailcap pins too-- JL eventually made a pin that is small and you can just leave it in and forget about it- you may be able to make one yourself- as long as it fits snuggly and makes contact so the laser works you will be fine- a RCA plug with the outer parts removed made a good pin for the JLs- I just added a glob of JB Weld on the big end to make it eaier to get back out- also some headphone jacks are the same size-
all the above make more sense than taking apart the tailcap--
you may want to sell it someday to a buyer who likes the tailcap pin.

There are pins like that with a wired momentary switch for use as a gun sight too.

I like the RCA plug idea. I have a couple lying around that I am going to go destroy to see if I can get one to fit nicely. Thanks for the suggestion.

EDIT: Well, that took 5 minutes. I now have a nice perfect fitting plug in it from an RCA cable. Thanks again bro.

Yes, I did end up receiving the laser. Aside from all 3 labels being either wrinkled or off-cent, I am overall very happy with the laser. Good quality, bright, love the star-attachment. Thanks for the GB.
 
except for blord ;) Also @ alexizuhinea you just reveiled the suprise of the lower priced lasers :) Blord's and Smeerworst's have better suprises :beer:

Yes, I am the last one to receive the laser. It has been 5 days that the laser is underway and it is still in Hong Kong. It has been moving around 3-4 FedEx buildings. :confused:

That sounds unusual. I am very surprised its still there.

Maybe they have to handle it differently since your gift is a 160W CO2 tube :P

Maybe someone at FedEx is taking some time off and messing everything up for us? :tinfoil: I ordered a new jacket from CA, that was shipped via fedex last week. Normally by regular priority mail packages take 2-4 days max to get to me... we're now on day five, and last tracking shows it being in texas... :wtf:
 
Wow, the sixth day went fast. Like I said earlier the laser has been in Hong Kong for 5 days but the last day it went thru Paris and Belgium in no time. It is even skipped by the customs. :)
The package has been delivered and sitting on my table at home.
I haven't opened it yet because I am at work now but pictures will follow.

Sweet blord! We want pics and lpm readings :beer: the ican close the dispute of kevin. Also you can unveil the present of the more expensive lasers :)

I am at work now. The delivery hasn't been opened yet.
I don't know if Kevin has added the gift in this second shipment.

My second shipment also had the gift so I guess it'll be included. It didn't contain a battery though.
