Just a note, I won't be asking for payments until I get the hosts. This way you won't have paid, and be waiting 4 or 5 weeks before receiving your kits.

Hi,

I am sure a lot of you remember the C11 kits I was offering. Since I am at school, and need to pay for tuition, I have not been stocking hosts like I had before. I know a lot of you liked my C11 kits, so I'm seeing if there is interest in a group buy in them.

These kits fit a single 18650 or two 16340 batteries. The host has a nice side clicky switch. The head is 1.75" wide, and nearly 2" deep allowing for a nice large heatsink, in a decently sized host with a side clicky! (Host also has connection for touch sensor switch) The grooves in the head also keep the host from rolling around when being sat down.

Looking to get a minimum order of 25 kits. This GB may take awhile since the hosts will need to be ordered, and shipped from China which could take awhile.

is there a pill in these or is a spring attached to the driver needed?

Im interested in getting one but need to see how things work out when you have enough to order so just put me down as maybe for now.

These do have a pill. But you would need either a spring or wire going from your driver or contract board that would contact with the brass contact in the host for the switch.

I would be in for one of this also... You should really do one single thread with all the hosts that you plan on making so one could choose more than one without going from one thread to the other....

I made them separate to try to keep them more organized. And if one GB doesn't go through, the other one still will etc.

Of course I am in for 1 with a knurled knob might switch to smooth flow later.

C11 is one of my favorites. It has a huge heatsink, feels great in your hand, real clean look to it, and the awesome side click

Here is a pic of a c8 with a smooth flow and the c8 is like the baby version of the c11.

I've built 5 of these, C11 host is great!!! I may get more if people want me to build them a laser :)

how much bigger is the c11 compared to the c8

Will the smooth flow focus knob take the hole front diameter of the C11 heatsink, just as in the picture posted of the C8?
