I decided I would build a cheap ~20$ laser this week. I am looking at some violet diodes and I think they would be cool. Since this is my first time I need some help picking proper drivers and heat sinks. Basically I need to be spoon fed this stuff because I am completely helpless. I did look stuff up, I just dont know what sites to trust.

Nobody here wants to spoon feed you, or anyone else for that matter. If you're completely helpless, perhaps you really don't need to be handling lasers in the first place.
What I'm hearing is "Basically I'm lazy as fu*k and don't want to spend ANY time looking for the information I need, so how about you who HAVE spent your valuable time learning just GIVE me the answers to the test.":tsk:
