*** BluRays for $25... ***

Roughly 25mW before you start pushing it.
and btw SCREW YOU DDL! ;) i just 2 days ago bought one at $36 from psxboy.com hehe get your act together faster next time! :P
maybe i will be in for one or two more, but not just yet.

GAH NEED MONIES!
Maybe I can get some early since x-mas is just around the corner. ::)

Any estimate when this GB will ship out? What is the target number you have to reach before ordering? I have to know the shipping date due to winter travel plans.

Roughly what output do you get from these?

I believe the official rating on these is about 20mW with a 40% duty cycle at something around 40ns pulse width...

For CW driving, you can get around 10mW with a minute duty cycle without significant damage to the diode.

The prices are based on a 50-unit order and It's already 22% done... :P

Nice, Daedal! It's great to see the price dropping rapidly. Who knows, at this rate we may be able to get them at the same price as SenKat's diodes in about 2 or 3 more group buys. ;D

;D

That is wishful thinking... If I can get a hold of the diodes alone at the same price as the 'manufacturer' of these units does, then you can start seeing those cheaper than SenKat's diodes... ;) ;)

Could this tell us that the price of 405 BURNERS might also drop ??

I'm waiting for BIG BLU ;D

Mike

Mike... you read my mind... :D

I've been trying to find those for about a month now! I could probably reliably get burners at around $400 or so with a possibility of a price drop... It's quite a dip though :-[

I've also been trying to get a hold of OEM high power BluRays... I might put down some cash and grab a nice 200mW 405nm from nichia ($$$expensive$$$ :'() sometime soon... maybe...

Try Coherent, i was at their site the other day and they have native diode 405 modules. Not sure how much though.
