Have there been any recent changes to signatures? I recently took another step towards my dream rainbow. I wanted to update my signature, but I can't find the edit button. When I try to access the link, I get a message saying I don't have permission.
Are there any restrictions on signatures now, like a specific number of posts required?

(Sorry. I didn't know where to write or who to ask)
 





Yes, the Signature and PM functions on LPF have been disabled for several months now. They are no longer functional.

I understand, thanks. Is there any information about what happened, or if the edit option will be available again in the future? I spent over an hour searching, but aside from posts about hacking incidents or copying someone's signature, I haven't found anything that explains what actually happened

Maby start a thread naming your updated list..
Sounds like your proud of it:)
Worse that could happen might be its taken down but give it a shot...

Is seems that the site got a new owner and has disabled most of LPF trying to ruin it

Most of us have switched to the laser D i s c o r d server. I can send you an invite link if you want. Although, there's no signatures on Dis-cord

No, thanks. I think that describing your entire collection in detail (no matter what you have) is asking for potential trouble.
In a signature, it could literally mean anything. Even the machines at your work :D

I don't know about the 20 post rule but we never needed permission to add or edit are signatures..

Just show what your comfortable showing if you worried..
When I lurked at first and then joinned years later I would look at members sigs all the time and hoping over time I reached a goal..

So your saying you can't edit and ad to yours? Time for me to try..
 
The only function members have and non-members do not have it the ability to use the post functions.

There are no signature , or PM functions any longer for anyone. If you have a signature you can keep it but can not change it--if you don't have a signature you can't get/have one.

Even new membership is seriously restricted ---only 1 new member since 31 May 2025 so.
Apparently the original owner and/or new owner if there is one which I doubt, who would buy a dead laser pointer web site unless their nuts, doesn't care about having any new members or about any existing members or their gripes, expectations, wants, or needs.
That's the way the cookie crumbled.
