Best Laser Power Meter between these 3?

Hello members. I have been trying to get my hands on a Laser Power Meter, but im not so sure which one is the best out of these three. The first one is the 5 Watt Laser Power Meter by nospin which features extremely accurate calibration, reading, and backlit display. However, it does not offer data logging or show the max power of lasers. This LPM has the best finish out of these three, a wood grain finish. $326 total for the package.

The second one is the Laserbee II deluxe. It features accurate readings, data logging, backlit display and shows the max power of lasers along with the regular reading like the nospin one shows. This one looks a bit less nicer than the nospin because of the exposed wires. $430 for the package.

The last one is the Kenometer Pro. This features accurate readings, Data logging, On-screen graph, peak, current, min, average power. This one looks the worst out of all 3, but i believe it has the most functions. $400 + shipping for the package.

I would prefer one that looked like nospin's but with data logging, however he does not offer that function. If anyone knows a LPM that is better than these three, feel free to post and tell me :)

I vote for the Kenometer Pro.

Thats what I would get if I needed to upgrade. I got a little Radiant Electronics LPM works for what I need ATM any ways

I have a Kenometer Pro and I think its great. I chose it because it uses a real laser power thermopile which I understand is more accurate than those thermopiles used by other power meters which are close but not as high quality. further, I like the design of the hardware and software - the display in the Ken Pro is amazing, the configuration features are easy to use and well done and the logging is easy to use and reliable. I think its one of the most versatile LPMs out there especially at its price-point.
 
I'm wounded and hurt, that you don't like my pro as #1! LOL
 
I agree Kenom. I am not sure why the OP considers it the "worst of all 3". its a great meter! Very well designed with a really nice and well thought out feature set. I know there was some concern around the build quality. I think the criticisms are centred around the point-to-point wiring used, which granted doesn't look that great but in terms of functionality is perfectly fine. The Kenom Pro is assembled out of a number of components and each is hand wired to the other. I can totally see that the cost involved in making that better, say by using ribbon cables, would not be worth the added cost to the meter, IMHO. The point to point wiring is fine and otherwise I think the meter is top quality. It would be great to have a LPM comparison of the three you mention and a couple commercial units and see which are more accurate.

Sorry if you guys misunderstood my sentence. When i said "looks the worst out of all 3" i meant the appearance. It doesnt really appeal to me like nospin's, which looks awesome. Its only the appearance lol, I dont know which one is the "worst overall" out of the three. Hope that clears up some confusion :)
 
I'd just like to point out that the nospin meter and the Kenometers use the same thermopile from the same source that is factory calibrated.

Concerning the Pro, stay tuned for news about an advanced firmware option. ;)

Here's my opinion on the three power meters, mostly from a technical standpoint.

Nospin -
Coherent thermopile, voltage converters, premade panel voltmeter, plasic box printed to look like wood, point to point wiring, you end up paying a lot for the thermopile and not much else.

Laserbee II -
Slow response time due to TEC based sensor, good quality pcb fabrication, software interface, good for its graphing utility, high price

Kenometer Pro -
Coherent thermopile, point to point wiring, good utility with and without a computer
 
i messaged kenom about his lpm's a few times a while back, with no response :(
so i got the nospin, and it works awesome. just take a video with your phone, or camera, and you can see maximum easily. Data logging isn't highly important to me, because if I know what it maxes at, and can watch it's power drop, I know what I got

and nospins meter was 285 + 11 shipping for me?

I didn't respond because I didn't have internet at the time. Nor did I have any thermopiles to sell with my meters. Essentially the only thing I can do now is to sell a Pro base unit, or Pro with an alpha sensor.

At this point, I don't forsee any other options..
