I recently bought my first lasers in half a decade based on advice on this forum. I don't have much to contribute so didn't think I'd be back much, but I run a blog where I discuss misconceptions/conspiracies/etc. related to astronomy, physics, and geology.
I've been watching all the old Law & Order: SVU episodes and last night made it to season 5. In the first episode of the season, a lab tech makes a big deal about using lasers to see ink on a receipt that's saturated with blood. Problem is, she gets a few things wrong.
So, I blogged about it and thought that this may be a crowd interested in it and would let me know if *I* made a mistake, too. (And, well, it never hurts to advertise a bit for one's blog
