Attacking the beast(wicked lasers)

As a forum member here i have heard alots about these motherf*****s, actually dealt with them before i joined this forum and i think that we as a community should take action against this fuggen shit company and take them down for good.

Since this forum is a mutinational affair and WL is a mutinational company, it may be possible to complain to all our respective departments in our own countries to shut down this "company" :-/.

Warning: don't try this if you live in China(they may visit your house/bribe the government) :-X :-X :-X;D

Even if it doesn't shut down wicked or force them to improve their quality at least it will stain their name and lose them potentional customers.

There was an episode of Star Trek I saw once where war had 'evolved' to where it was fought virtually, through a system of computers. The two warring planets would simulate dropping bombs on populated areas in this virtual environment, which was a virtual version of either planet. When someone dropped a bomb on your city, you would report immediately to a disintegration chamber, step inside, and be humanely, instantly and indeed very permanently killed. There was no destruction, no irradiation, no useless land for hundreds or thousands of years to come, just cold, surgical murder.

Ya, most people who buy lasers probably come here. So I'd say you all control who becomes the dominant laser provider for enthusiasts. If they are as bad as everyone says, which I think we've established they are, they wont last.

Far too many people are swayed by Wicked's slick advertising. To the average person, all it takes is a balloon pop, a matchlight, a tapecut and a few beamshots to sell a Spyder II GX at $1700. Wicked is making money hand over fist and will continue to do so due to the gullibility of people at large.

the first time I ever heard that lasers could cut tape was from a WL ad... I thought it was sooooooooooo cool but now I know the truth about WL. Their ads just seem to pop up everywhere they're constantly getting new customers to scam

Apparently China has a very unrestricted freedom of speech, so everything they are doing is legal. :-/ I don't know how labeling lasers as "ball point pen" or whatever they use is legal though....

Everything they are doing is legal virtually everywhere. As for China, well, they have this problem with human rights, including free speech. That whole Tienamen (sp?) square thing was part of that.

my point exactly but when people find out that wicked lasers=rip off. then if they still want to get one they would look and find advice on good companies eg optotronics,laserglow etc

no joke in australia we have the departarment of consumer affairs and the department of fair trading. if enough people complain then bam stained company or enquiry. however americans are the ones who will wield the most power against WL is this situation.

WL is a laser company like others and everybody is free to choose where to buy!

A lot of people also had good lasers from WL.
When more companies come up the prices will fall. WL also decrease their prices.
