hello, Anyone here live in Melbourne florida? or in the 32903 aera? wondering if there are any other laser nerds nearby lol

Navarre. No one in Florida lives close enough to anyone else to meet up and talk laser sadly.
 
We could all meet at Disney World and BURN the place down!!!! Our show would be better than the firework display :eg:

hey they took over star wars so we could take some of our blue "Homemade light sabers" and give them a real show lol
 
yeah we will show up and be like "what? you dont like my light saber?! Ill pop your sons balloon if you dont watch your tone with me!!!!" ***POP***
 
Im a born and raised MAsshole so thats where I get my personality....fit in well in FL since there are a lot of people from MA here

Actually, we've had close to a dozen Florida Laser Enthusiast Meetings in either Orlando or Tavares. All of them have been very successful with anywhere from 15-30 folks attending. One year we even had a guy from New Zealand attend! We haven't scheduled anything since the last SELEM, the main guy that organizes these events has been very busy and does still have to organize SELEM this year. We will have more FLEM's, either later this year or next year.

Been trying to track down any info on FLEM but have been unsuccesfull. I hope.something happens because I would love to go.

There likely wont be anything before SELEM in August. Possibly later in the year or early next year. At one point we were having 2-3 events per year. I usually put up a post in the lasershow section here when one is scheduled. Hope to see some more Floridians there!
 
Mitch used to live in melborne I dropped in on him a few times- AFAIK he is still mear there- brilliant builder i had one of his 6X creations but it was stolen from me.

you may get with Mitch- he is RD Tech-
I had plans to make a FLEM but they never worked out - I used to live in Bonita Springs (west coast)
 
I live in Orlando and would love to attend one of these get togethers. I will keep an eye out as well.
