Well, as some of you know, I bought a set of scanpro 20's, with mounting them in my original RGY case in mind. Well, I did it, i managed to fit all the required parts ( Galvo's, laser, laser PSU, laser driver, 2 X galvo amps, Galvo PSU and the DMX control board, ASWELL as all the wires!! At this time, its only green, since the red died, and I need to use this thing at a concert on the 1st of August. Unfortunately, the DMX control decided to die, I am working on getting this fixed, but that just means I cant computer controll it (for now, will be fixed VERY soon)

The result: ALOT of unused holes in the baseplate, and a birdsnest of wires...

Wow, man thats some grade A engineering! It does look like it was a lot of work. [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

As I said, the DMX board is broken, so the laser goes through all the patterns very quickly in "Self test mode". I can do a beamshot for you, but I have no control over the laser lol.
 
Oh sorry bout that :D, I read maybe a sentence of your post, but by then my attention was quickly drawn to all the electrical eye candy :P

Hope you get it running asap, make sure you do some action shots then :D

Just made a quick vid of the patterns/animations in self test mode. Alot of chinese/japanese ones there, but once I have DMX going again I can skip them. Actually, I may be able to do a quick beamshow in a few. Fog machine is warming up lol.

Off topic: What happened to your 60W co2 ?
 
Congrats, you've got a Japanese one (as opposed to the low quality Chinese crap). I can see some distinct Japanese characters between the camera blanking.
 
Nice, all the controls fitted in place of the old parts as well eh?

I might point out though I am pretty sure it wants another colour for some of those effects... You can see on the I love you one, it looks like there should be a red heart there. None the less, good job.
 
Yeah I was trying to make a TTL merger, didnt seem to work tho :/

Doesnt really matter, I can set it just to green over DMX, and most of the thime it withh just be beamshows.

In theory that should work, I can't see why it wouldn't.
 
When I wired it all up, the laser just stayed on, lemme make up a circuit diagram of what I did....
