Hi, I was just got my 5mW laser pen almost week ago and I saw that when laser are very warmed up and with new batteries duracell AAA 1.5V its very bright but after 10-20minutes it start to little bit to be dimmer. Like when I click it is be very bright and then suddenly go to little bit dimmer, but stil bright. So I was wondering maybe these 2 pcs 1150mWh AAA NiZn 1.6V Volt Rechargeable Battery 3A LR03 HR03 Blue | eBay rechargeable batteries could be better? Or just last little longer then usual 1.5V AAA's?

I have seen them cells and I told others about them, everyone said to skip them and wait till their technology grew older, since then I bought sony eneloops and am very happy

But read that Lithium batteries is better than Alkaline. does Alkaline batteries not like cold? Becaus in my country is very cold in winter

(Try Energizer Ultimate Lithium. Pricey but the best I tried on my WL E3 200mw!!!).

Maybe I should try these. :) I'll look on eBay for it, because in my country I cant find in shop. :D

Yep energizer Lithium gives greenies a boost. But the output of greens is not very stable with respect to temperature. When I took mine out on a cold night it temporarily stopped working same when it overheats.

Then I would order the batteries you mentioned in your first post in this thread.
I am, and I am sure others are curious how well that new technology in cells works.

Please post back the results if you do this and thank you for doing so in advance.

No, you need a NiZn charger to charge NiZn cells.

You need an alkaline charger to charge rechareable alkalines (not throw away alkalines).

You need a Li-Ion charger for Li-Ion (not lithium throw aways).

You need a NiMH charger for NiMHs and some can also do NiCds.
