Vegeta, I spent months hunting down info on the RPL last year and found out some interesting stuff and I believe you may have come across the OEM like a few have done before you.
HOWEVER, I do not think you should try selling them. No offense, but when it comes to selling high power lasers straight from the manufacturer you'll want to be able to run the right diagnostics to know what you're truly offering the public. If this deal were posted by SenKat or someone with a decent power meter and who I could trust to know what he's doing, that's one thing. Sorry if I sound like a jerk saying this, but I don't think you fall into that classification.
And don't try accusing Jack - it sounds to me like you're trying to say he's ripping people off. However there's a lot of work he does and a lot of equipment he uses that adds a decent degree of "value added", not to mention that he does not purchase them through Viasho, but through another more-expensive source in order to maintain higher quality and specifications. Then you combine that all together and notice that of all the major resellers, he's probably working on some of the slimmest profit margins, and offering some of the best deals... which in iteself means a bit in my book
Just my opinon..
EDIT: I just noticed your mention of sending it to SenKat for testing. That in itself shows you really should not be trusted to conduct this deal. I knew you had to be out of the US, you cannot buy these lasers from within from that manufacturer, but sending them into the US for testing and then sending them to their destination? Sounds like an easy way to blow hundreds of dollars and I'd need to be sure who is accountable there.
I've sold some non-FDA compliant lasers on GBs from here but I've spared a bit of cost towards shunning customs as much as possible, and I try not to ask for $ in advance. If anything goes wrong, I'm always prepared to accept the losses 100% out of pocket. That's another way in which Jack/opto adds value to their lasers over the OEM rates.
Sorry for being so harsh about this - especially if you meant to do good and help out us other hobbyists - but unfortunately this seems like a potential recipe for disaster.
