638nm War of the Worlds Laser & Fire! Fire! Fire! (beavis and butthead voice)

An Oclaro 700mW in me backyard. :eg: The dot is that bad, but the color is great with an aerosol can! No actual fire, just looks like it.

The first pics with the Ultrapod II tripod remind me of War of the Worlds!









I am loving this used Mastech Variable PSU. With the tripod it is like a weapons control center... :gun: Hoping to fix the 1st output soon (believe it is just the potentiometer) I got it on ebay, there are sometimes some on craigslist in populated areas.

used a 99cent store can of air freshner for this. Was really weird going in my backyard an hour later and having it smell like jasmin air freshner! The aerosol is fantastic, a lot of fun.



The ambient laser light really illuminates everything.

If you didn't see the pics on my S4 build, I moved them into the opening post's body. http://laserpointerforums.com/f44/f...-up-front-modified-driver-heatsink-92460.html Turning the pill into a copper wire\solder heatsink (with hole for adjusting pot) and the extra front heatsink are really the differences from a "standard" S4 build. Could be better, could be worse, I love it though!

Sure am! Unfortunately will be putting in a lot more hours here and will have less time for tinkering, Will still get my RDA of lasing though. Can't go without that.
