Aiming was done at 300mW and burning was wide-open. All shots were without any smoke or fog.

New problem that limits CW operation... The anode isn't heat sinked very well. I looked over at it once and oh shit! It's glowing red-hot. I think i can safely assume that that is not it's intended operating temperature.

Below is the blower. The smaller fan that initially came with it is also visible



And the 250V 50A plug compared with a conventional 120V 10A plug.

Lovely visible beam with power I can only dream of. I bet it can even burn through thick black plastic.
 
WOW, straight through the duct tape! You have such cool lasers.If I had an Argon laser like yours I think my electricity bill would be enormous as I would only turn it off for duty cycle :D

I was sitting there wondering why it took you so long to light the match, but you were MELTING solder! thats insane!
If i had that I would be throwing baloons into the beam... would probally pop instantly....

So it's like 12500W for 4 quality, beautifully colored , duct tape piercing, solder melting laser watts :D
