Do they include all of the original optics and other components? In other words, are the only things missing the laser diodes? If so, I'll take one.

Yes that is right. The projector minus the laser diodes.

Edit: Strike that, I actually don't need one, even though that high-powered red LED would be pretty cool along with the other goodies.

The dichros are worth more than $50 all by themselves. Just buy the projector and get the rest of the stuff in it as a bonus
