i get the impression quite a lot of people get there lasers from lazerer so I'm guessing some people would of got the 18650 Battery + Charger Set as well. do you know when the charger has finished charging? there doesn't seem to be anything that tells you. thanks :anyone:

When you connect the charger, the light turns GREEN.

When you insert the battery, if the battery is not full, ie, below 4.2V, the LED turns RED.

The battery is fully charged when the LED of the charger turns in GREEN color.

oh ok thanks i must have a foulty one because the light is always red. roughly how long does it take to fully charge on yours so ill know when to take it out.

The light is red, even without the battery on?

The charging time depends on the voltage charge in this moment, and battery capacity, but with this charger 2, or 2 hours and a half is generally enough.

yeah I've had it charging for 5 hours and still red but thanks

Ok, but the question is:

The light in the charger is red, even without the battery on? With the charger plugged, obviously, but without the battery.

Then the charger is faulty.
And hoping that the battery has not been damaged too.

Edit: Complain to the company where you bought it.

but it does seem to be charging the battery so its ok

Well, it's not ok then, because it not tells you when the battery is charged, the LED should turn green when the battery is full.

And if not, you might maybe overload the battery, with the dangers that implies.

After 5 hours is not normal the LED remains red, and it is not normal that the LED is red, without the battery inserted.

yeah i already have. thanks piferal

Ok, then

I have the same charger but i bought it from O-like.
These chargers have a problem, the + leg of the charger is not
making contact with the battery so it can't charge !
So i put a magnet between the battery and the leg of the charger ;)

^^The problem is that the LED is always red, with, or without battery.

According to the OP the charger does charge the battery, but the problem is, we do not know when the battery is actually charged,
and if the charger stops charging when the battery reaches 4.20V, because the LED is always in red.

Then, the charger is faulty and the best thing to do, is change it.

I wanted to say that the LED doesn't turn Green because the
battery isn't connected to the charger
Just my 2 cents !

The LED is always on RED, even with NOT battery in the charger.

This charger should have the LED in GREEN when plugged in, and without battery inserted, and is NOT the case.

And he says, the battery does charge.

Then again, the charger is faulty.

I do not write good English, I know that, but I think it is not so difficult to understand what I say.

Then, i apologise it was my fault !
I hadn't realised that the battery was charging
So i agree with you, the charger is faulty and he
should replace it !
