150mW?






"No IR filter for maximum output" is found in the product highlights. This could be a potential drawback, especially for that price. For that much money, you could have a MUCH nicer laser. Maybe not 150mW but the overall product would be enormously higher quality and last much, much longer. Just check laserglow.com or optotronics.com.
 
I know it doesn't have a IR filter and that the quality may not be as good, but I already have a lower power green laser that works fine. I want a little more power this time around.
 
Well, if you've decided that's what you want then by all means buy it.

If I answer a question, I give an honest answer. I still feel that you could find much more value for your money if you keep looking.. :)
 
Did you watch that video? It looked like the V2 50mW in the video couldn't even burn the black plastic at point blank range! With the plastic stretched and everything!
 
I own the 200mw one they sell its a great laser, but I heard other people having problems its a crap shoot
 
Good Luck... If you do buy it please come back and give it a good review. I'd be interested in its qualities/power.
 
Yeah well ElectroFreak is right I think I'm still gonna get the alpha 105. :) I don't want to deal with replacing it if it turns out to be crap. Plus I talked to someone on YouTube and he said his mode hops. He's getting two 75mW dots at twenty feet. :(
 
Yes I live in the US. The only problem with mine in general is that it mode hops when it gets too warm inside, so I need to let it cool down. I guess that's good in a way cuz it's warning me that I'm gonna fry it if I continue to keep it on lol.
So, not all of these lasers will mode hop, but mine does. Besides that, it's a great laser, I love it, it's bright and powerful.
 
I talked to someone else through You Tube who has the same one and his mode hops too. :(

really? dang.. my first one didnt mode hop.
Strange, when it first started modehoping it it was the 2 dots merged together, but now it's 2 seperate dots! that's only when it actually does mode hop.
 
i was looking through that website and i found this.

defiantly looks cheaper than the KD V2 one posted above. but its only 109$
