Well, The cheapest lasers that can burn are 635nm's. A couple well known "cheap" websites are O-Like and Rayfoss. Of course if you want visibility, 532nm. Always wear glasses :)

I took some pictures today in the snow with my 1W 445nm. We're supposed to get 4-7 inches overnight on top of the foot we already have. Some spots have 3 feet drifts :p. If you're wondering, I'm in Minnesota.

I think mobile versions of sites are starting to be an outdated concept. With 4g technology and built in flash on the new smartphones coming out, I don't think it would benefit the site much. Just my 2 cents.

If I were you I would. I've heard the vets say if you have any doubts at all, you should get glasses.

You shouldn't have a problem. O-Like and Rayfoss usually mark their packages as 10$ flashlight parts, which is what they look like. :yh:

My bad, Yes it is an rcr123. It only jumps in brightness when I turn it on, It gets bright for about a half a second and dims to half that brightness. I ran it for about 3 minutes, and it doesn't seem to be warm. No changes in brightness either.

Just checked them, they are putting out 3.9 volts. I don't have any other cr123's, unfortunately. Do you think its a bad battery? It's the one that came with the laser from rayfoss.

Hey guys, I just got my laser from Rayfoss a few weeks ago. I got the 30mW unit. When I turn it on it is real bright at first, and then dims after maybe a second. Sometimes it dims in three stages. Does this happen to anyone else or is it just me? If words don't do justice I can take a video.

My PHR I just received from hightechdealz doesn't work aswell, I am using a rkcstr micro drive set at 100mA.

Yes I've read that one. What I picked up is that test loads are used to see if your driver is working before risking your diode.
