Yeah I am still a noob with lasers but I happened to buy from the same person as a YouTuber who was showing the difference between 5mW eBay lasers and "professional" 100mW of the same colour, and his 5mW didn't go above 3mW so I'm just going by that :whistle: as for WL; I understand many many...

Around mid-January, Wicked Lasers ran a few contests on their Facebook page all based around producing certain images involving Wicked Lasers. Yesterday I checked my notifications to be pleasantly surprised by the fact that I was one of three winners, getting a free S3 model of our choice...

Updated the OP, seems the model is an NEC ND-6500A drive, can't find any laser info as of yet but still looking!

I'm not stupid :scowl: I know how Google works and how to search the forums, but with something like this I'm not just going to read some article on how to do it, I'd rather be showed bit-by-bit by someone who's done it before and can tell me the best places to buy and the best tutorials.

Recently the family laptop broke and I've been allowed to open it up and take a look inside to educate myself as I am hoping to take a computing course soon and an IT engineering course. But while searching I found the DVD drive with a sticker stating that it housed a Class 3B laser both visible...

Ok, I might have to go for the 500mW blue - I just won an eBay bid half unintentionally so I'll have to pay out £10 -.- Any other good lasers around the £50-60 budget mark? Not red as I already have a decent red and I'm not a fan of violet.
