    Good That doesn't sound completely correct. Because Power as measure in Watts are in terms of Energy/Second, so yes, the shorter the pulse, the higher the "measured" power, but in order to do work on the Cu we still need to supply enough energy (in Joules). Which is why we need to keep that...
