the blade and the stopper are scrap after it saved your finger, but i'd prefer buying a new blade for some 100 bucks, instead of loosing my finger... if you'r wearing gloves it will cut the glove, and stop as soon as it hits your finger. except if you'r wearing conductive gloves... ;D
