Hi guys can anybody name and give alternative uses for the parts listed in this PHR-803 sled ?
parts I do know (I think) from reading other threads
1 turning mirror. how does this work it looks like a prism ?
2 splitter cube. how does this work ? is it wavelength dependant ?
sorry if the pic...
Now you mention it both of them do look like the lens's are glued in.
Shame as I like the look of the second blue one as well.
I might order one anyway just out of curiosity.
I don't know if jayrob and you guys know this or not ?
but I came across some similar looking 'pocket pal' flash light hosts in different colours :)
from this page link here
they have
red
blue
gold
green
purple
black
silver
and also some that look the same size but with a slightly different...

I have just finished my first build using the 9 led host in your second link
jayrob has a tutorial for it here  http://laserpointerforums.com/f51/tutorial-my-pocket-pal-blu-ray-laser-36799.html
It works thanks guys :yh:
just a quick question I set up the driver using three rechargeable battery's
if I switch to non rechargeable battery's will the driver still output the same current ?
Hi
I'm just about ready to build my first laser and have a question
I will be following jayrob's tutorial for the pocket pal
I have all the parts I need but I'm sure I remember reading somewhere about shorting contacts/capacitors before attaching the diode ?
I have a flex drive,Phr-803T Diode...
I already have :yh:
Just noticed I typed pocket mini when I meant Pocket Pal
I have on order double of everything I need apart from some 1 ohm resistors for the driver test load I'm still hunting for them
