No. I have a couple of their higher power samples, and they're right on with what they advert them as. You might contact them and see what they say about their 1mw & 5mw pens being really under 5mw.

It has a 200mw module and has sound. I integrated the module into the circuit board of the phaser so everything would work like normal except the beam coming out. I did it back in 2007 with a 50mw module as anything with more power was just too expensive back then. Here's my original post...

Bro, both "shadowlasers" and "laserpointerstore" sell "Sanwu-esque" lasers for excellent prices as well as genuine Sanwu lasers. I've purchased several from both companies and have been pleased with their bang for the buck.
