Focusable 200mw Blue 445nm Laser

Hi everybody, I've been looking for a Focusable 200mw Blue laser with a wavelength of 445nm, not 405nm, because I don't want a violet beam.
Anyone know where I could get one?

Request one in the B.S.T section. Most of the ones commercially available are going to be around a Watt. The 445nm diode that is in the lasers is capable of putting more than 1W so the price is likely to be the same for a 200mW as for a 1+Watt... the only difference being that it may require less heatsinking and a less expensive driver.

The general opinion on this forum is that you should DIY it. Alternatively, grab yourself one of the ones from Rayfoss or O-like and then twist the pot on the driver to reduce the power.

What's your budget?

Yeah, I've been searching and found most of them being either 1w or 405nm. I don't mind if the power is higher, it's just that anything under $150 and 200mw + would be great. I'm not so confident on DIYing it.

That's quite good , but I'd like something under $150, or around that price.

it's more expensive, but ONLY 209 bucks, I think that it's a very good price man.

But the con, is that with 1W, you must be very much caution that 200mW.

I think it's a very good buy, but you must buy a googles.

Also, in dragonlasers you have 447nm blue lasers, from 200mw to 1W.

You have this option:

Yeah, that O-like lasers seems like a great buy, and well worth the price, but I was looking for something under $150, or somewhere around that price. Yeah, if I were to buy it I would get safety goggles too, so that'd be good. But again, the main problem is the price.

And the dragonlasers one, is it focusable?

The rayfoss that Antoniio linked seems to be the best not-DIY option for you.
But you can always ask a member to build it for you and see if you can get a good price.

Aurora series isn't focusable, is a simple pen style.

I don't know if the Spartan is Focusable, but it seems that isn't it.

Anyway, it's good for burning! It is 1W, very powerful.

I just saw his edit now that you pointed it out, that looks like a great laser, although I prefer a push switch, not a momentary button. But I found another Rayfoss, and for only $10 more then the other one, it's a push switch at the back, and it's 1W (It says 800mw-1W)
I'll consider that one. I'll save a little more $$$ and get that one most likely, unless I can find another one.

EDIT: I just saw this video on Youtube featuring the Rayfoss laser (link above), and it appears to have a rectangular dot, but on the website, it's advertised as a circle dot.
Now I have no idea whether it's a rectangular dot or a circular dot?

Man this is a good choice. I know this laser, and the beam is amazing. You can see it at daylight with no problem.

Yes the dot is circular. You can check this in the video I've posted.

But according to the Rayfoss specifications, the other one, also has a circle dot.

I think I'll go for the $179 one, it's $10 less, meaning I'll be able to get it sooner. And also, I've seen videos of the dot being circular, and it performing exactly how I would like my laser to perform. Thanks a lot.
So I'll save a bit more cash and pick that one up, and if the dot turns out to be rectangular, I'll just ask for a refund.
