We're all screwed, those of us in the Midwest at least...

My truck was buried under so much ice when I got off of work today that one of my mirrors shattered. I'm still contemplating how exactly that happened but nonetheless, I'm pissed.

Now they're talking 2 feet of snow and no power for weeks. I gotta say, I'll probably take a trip to Florida if that's the case. Either way, you know where I went if I'm gone for a week!

At least I'll be able to have fun in the snow with lasers until I am completely buried! I'm charging the batteries now. I expect a great many snowy laser pics from everyone else in the Midwest if and when I get power back :p

Random thread is random, but it is the off-topic forum after all :whistle:
 





Snow? Yes. Lots of it.

I must've eaten about 3 liters of it and inhaled 2 liters of it today just walking to class.

We have been getting hit every week This was last week that was on top of another one the week before.



Were getting another 15 tomorrow.:eek: Their is about 28 inches right now in my yard as you can tell by the video above. Only about 1 inch has melted since that video. Lucky are roads are clean so we will only have 15 inches on the road. Crazy how i say "only" like its not alot.

This does stink, As your stuck indoors all day.:(

Be safe guys and stay in dont go out and get stuck or anything worse.:angel:
 
We usually get a lot, but not this year. It has all stayed in the mountains which is at 140%, good luck to you guys that are getting pounded.
 
Man you've got it bad. We get like a 6 inch of it and all hell breaks loose. The country comes to a standstill :) I guess were lucky in a way we dont get that much snow :p

I'm looking forward to it. I haven't taken blizzard laser pictures before, but if it's as good as it's they say it's going to be (hasn't snowed yet today) maybe a 'post your blizzard pics' thread could yield some attractive lasing pics :pop:
 
hell yea. Here in Ohio we just got 1/4 inch of ice. I went out to scrape the windows on my truck... but i couldn't break through the ice or else I'd shatter the glass underneath.

I warmed up my truck enough to scrape the wind sheild, but i couldn't get the side windows. I rolled down the windows and the ice was STILL there, as if it were the window. Except then I poked it the ice shattered everywhere inside my truck.
 
It finally started snowing here & it's hitting hard. Got my lasers setup, armed & ready for dusk :D
