RPL-425 impression

I fulfiled my dream to held an OPTOTONICS RPL-425 in my hands. It feels very solid and it is the brightest laser in my collection!

It came with two different tailcaps, one for adjustable power control and one for full power. The laser is able to pop balloons at 30 feet. After I got it (I purchased it used) I polished it for an hour with about 100 cotton sticks








I´m waiting on the 30mW GLP-589nm price and may sell this laser to finish my rainbow

I would like to get an Optotronics RPL, too (but still have to put some money aside).

I see that you are located in Austria - did you have problems with customs? Or did you buy the laser from within the EU?

Never had problems with customs, except at my Arctic purchase - cause Wickedlasers described item as a laser with more than $22 product value

I hear you! I can easily spend an hour working at keeping away every little speck of dust and dirt. I buy those cotton sticks in bulk!

Cool! I have one of those! I took photos for Jack of it for his website. The RPL-425 is a sweet laser, I love mine.
