593.5 straight up for 473?

I have a CNI pen style (AAA batteries) 593.5nm 2mW that I would be willing to trade for a 473nm around the same power level. If anyone is interested I can get pictures.

I have a good trading history if you search my name back, I sold 2 lasers to joenobody a while back. I think he is still around?

This is nothing firm, I really like my yellow but blue would be cool too, just testing the waters
 





Can we see some pics of the host to see what condition it is in. Have you checked the power on a LPM? I might be interested.

I took some quick pics, I do have a fog machine but I have no idea where any of my spyros have gone. If you want I can throw something together for some cool beam shots.

Anyway here are some of the laser by itself, it still has this blue sticker that came on the tailcap. The only spot is the aperture has some tarnish spots on it but I can probably polish that off. If not I'll take the cap off of my fusion (its a old wicked CNI) and put it on the yellow.

I really don't want to just sell it, I'd rather have a blue laser.

I'm planning a RGB with 532, 473, and 635 :D

You're not going to get much of a beam with only 2mW of blue in the mix. Plus, you would not be able to run it very long using a small pointer for your blue.

I thought you were just "getting back interested" in lasers. Now you have a yellow for trade and an old fusion too?

I might suggest that you take a bit more time to re-familiarize yourself with where the hobby is today before you try to make too many deals.

no no no, I would never sell my fusion, only swap the cap over to the yellow.

I was planning on getting a heatsink machined that the blue could slip inside, I figure ~1mW of green, 5 mW of 532 and ~2mW of blue.

The only issue is I think the blue pointer is pulsed 700hz. I don't really want to deal with that...

You illustrate my point. You need to get more familiar with what you need and what is available.

--HINT-- 532nm IS green ;)

eh, typo. I meant 635.

I've found that more power does not always mean better laser IMHO.

if daguin is telling you somthing its not to critisize its advice but if you continue rubbing him wrong then yes you have an intellectual war on your hands
