Wow, so my old DX 50 mw green laser died a few weeks ago  and when I went to buy another one, I found they would no longer ship to the US. This is when I found you guys. Talk about wasting time at work reading about lasers.

Now I want a least half a dozen > $100 lasers and maybe to even learn about building my own. I think I'll need to figure out how to get in on the next group buy. This site is awesome! :D

Welcome to the forum! Reading up a lot can save you a lot of dead diodes along the way. You'll find loads of info here in our faq's, stickies, user groups, and just plain searching for it. As you buy those nice powerful lasers, and build some too, please remember the need for eye protection and safe laser useage practices.
