Fetterman Turns on His Party — Votes for GOP Measure.​


Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) have clashed over the risk of a government shutdown, with Fetterman expressing support for a House-passed continuing resolution to fund federal agencies.
The disagreement came amid ongoing tensions within the Democratic caucus over fiscal strategy and opposition to President Donald Trump's agenda.
Schumer and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) have remained firm in their obstinate refusal to engage in democracy and attempt to compromise with Republicans on the matter.
 





Trump wins big with Supreme Court.​


President Donald Trump has won again. The Supreme Court issued an order clearing the way for the president to halt $4 billion in foreign aid, marking a major victory for the Trump administration, which has been working for months to undo spending decisions previously approved by Congress. This ruling is significant as it could set a precedent enabling Trump or future presidents to block or redirect congressional spending more easily without legislative approval.
This is far from a good thing. We'll see how you like it when a Democratic president is in the WH.

Trump can't end birthright citizenship for persons born on US soil ( 50 States ), it's in our Constitution, the only question is in the meaning of " subject to the jurisdiction thereof " but anyone born here on US soil in any of our 50 States, is an American by birth, that won't change without 2/3 of the House 2/3 of the Senate and ratification by 3/4 of the States or a convention of States which has never been done.

Persons born in Puerto Rico, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, the Northern Mariana Islands are the ones in question.
I believe they should all be US Nationals who can live in any of our 50 States, but Not US Citizens who vote in our federal elections.
I believe you should be born on US soil or be a naturalized Citizen to vote in our federal elections.

As of 2021, there are approximately 1.6 million Puerto Ricans born in Puerto Rico living in the United States. This figure represents about 28% of the total Puerto Rican population in the U.S.


From the 14th Amendment:
"All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws."


Birth in Territories or Possessions​

Citizenship for individuals born in U.S. territories depends on specific legal provisions. While those born in the 50 states and the District of Columbia receive automatic citizenship, Congress has enacted statutes granting birthright citizenship to most territorial residents.

Puerto Rico was granted statutory birthright citizenship through the Jones Act of 1917, Guam through the Nationality Act of 1952, and the U.S. Virgin Islands through the Citizenship Act of 1927. The Northern Mariana Islands followed under a 1976 covenant. These laws reflect Congress’s constitutional authority over territories.

American Samoa remains an exception. Individuals born there are U.S. nationals rather than citizens, meaning they can live and work in the U.S. but cannot vote in federal elections or hold certain public offices unless they naturalize. Legal challenges, such as Tuaua v. United States (2016), have sought to change this, but courts have upheld that citizenship for territorial residents remains subject to congressional action.

Democratic governor candidate for NJ, Mikie Sherrill, had her files from her time in the navy released to her Republican opponent by the Trump administration. It included her full SS number, her parents names and address, and other sensitive information. This was admittedly wrong by the office that released this information.

Trump has squandered $3 trillion on tax relief for the wealthy.
