Des Moines Public Schools Superintendent Ian Roberts was arrested by ICE on September 26, 2025, amid concerns regarding his immigration status and possession of weapons.

On the morning of September 26, 2025, Ian Roberts, the superintendent of Des Moines Public Schools, was detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents. The school district announced the arrest in an email, stating that Associate Superintendent Matt Smith would serve as interim superintendent until further notice.

According to ICE, Roberts was found in possession of a loaded handgun, $3,000 in cash, and a fixed blade hunting knife at the time of his arrest. He was identified as an illegal alien from Guyana with a final order of removal and no work authorization. Roberts had entered the United States in 1999 on a student visa and had been working as the superintendent since July 2023.

You know it's not that simple, however I'm not really a fan of the tariffs..... unless I get a tax rebate, I paid too dam much in taxes last year and Biden/Harris would have raised our taxes even more, and for what, to fund some woke bullshit, to give medical benefits to illegals while I pay through the nose for medical, fuck that.

I want cheap abundant energy, nuclear is the way to go, I'm not concerned about climate change because after all these years of hype/drama it's amounted to nothing, but it has been exploited by dems for funding anything/everything else.

If you woke/post capitalism leftist are struggling to pay rent and live, you should want cheap abundant energy too, smaller more efficient government and less waste, but you want some communism pipe dream with windmills and diapered cows too boot..... it's a ridiculous unrealistic pipedream and 4 years of Biden didn't get us public healthcare, didn't change the climate, but Biden DOUBLED MY GROCERY BILL.
