I've also been eyeing their 561nm modules in the last few days... (also their 545 and 555nm ones too)
May be worth adding a few bucks and get the 10-20mw one instead, it's much bulkier though
P.s. on the spec sheet they claim the 10-20mW one is CW

i have their 555 and 561 modules, now im buying their 575nm yellow laser
561 is called yellow by some, it is more yellow than for example, 532 nm, but it's really lime. It is an unusual wavelength, that's why I like it, but not because I consider it a yellow color, or even close to it in my eye. If you want 575, those modules were the cheapest way to get it, too bad they can't reproduce a stable crystal. You could get a OPSL at 577 nm, but yikes, the price.

Don't know what the current status of that reseller's business is--reliable or not reliable and so on.
You can get a CNI 589nm pen here one for $295 w. free shipping ---- $200 less than Laserponterstore.
Probaly could buy a few and get a better discount and then sell them for more on eBay if so inclined--go figure.

For hand held/portable lasers yes -- JetLasers ---high quality professional level lasers with best customer service in the business.
They are a manufacturer founded by laser enthusiasts not jus resellers who would be selling ping pong balls if they were not selling lasers and caring just as much. Jetlasers is proud of what they make and do. The actually care if the have happy customers how received something of value that they are satisfied with and enjoy --will do anything to make that happen---before and after a sale--customer service is the best---they even have been knowm to acceot a return for full refind several months later if a customer is seriously unhappy with what they bought---That is amazing thing for any western compnay to do much lees a Chinese company in China where money is god and god is money.

Wow nice thanks dude. I’m looking now and they look really well constructed. I also like the safety features…
the infrared lasers are interesting. I’ve always been fascinated with the concept but for the life of me I can’t think of something to use one for. I thought once about using one to illuminate something far Away for night vision goggles but it didn’t seem safe.

IF the laser you want is NOT offered at JL--there is a reason-atm they are just too expensive or the do not work well over a long time.
My first JL was a 250mW 532 'PL-C' and by mistake it was sent to a buyer in London who ordered the same laser but IR. Same price/host etc. since then all FINE PRINT gets read.
At first I mistook the dull, barely visible, reddish spot as a dead/dying 532 DPSS-- Gray replied very fast- said my green was in London.. I said I would return or fwd the IR meant for the London guy or sell it if I could. Gray said keep it!!! who does that? 'seemed' like only a day ...so I will say the replacement came within 72 hours.
and THAT ^^^ is how I met JL Gray.
btw my 532 PL-C? O'spec at a steady 320mW sold as 250mW- still working like new.AND it had the most 'features' of all JLs ever made.
Very nearly full FDA complaint. iirc it only needed to have a delay start. Its a keeper. nfs
