So, has anyone been able to find out where wicked laser gets their host made from?

Lazerer Rifle and jetlasers have a similar looking host.

He would have to do some serious setups to replicate the Evo, E2 or Spyder series lasers.

Where the heck are you coming up with "impossible"
Re-read my post. I did not say it was impossible, nor did I imply that it is.
If you have worked on and/or programmed lathes, mills and machining centers you will immediately see that none of those hosts are a simple lathe operation host.

misread it sorry LC... this is what happen when you read so many threads in different tabs and don't know which one you're answering to...:D

Update. Sanwu's Spiker series heatsink top looks very similar.

Jet lasers have similar hosts to WL and they to me look even better, WL are so overrated anyways not like a good host is good to make really and that company has some beefy hosts for sure.

Are there any good hosts with key button or other security measures?

I'm sure you could get someone to make one with at least a key on it - not sure of any that are readily available as a kit or some such. Laser BTB and CNI both sell complete units with keys, interlocks, indicators and shutters.
