:thinking: have you adjusted the focus ring?

BTW if you say yes then wait until you can do it at night. to get it perfectly focused to infinity is the difference between 1/16th of a turn, its that precise. i couldnt get it at first but then i tried it at night and it was SUPER easy since you can see the difference in the beam

I got it to burn at about 10-12" but at a 6' length, it wasn't focused enough to burn. I made slight adjustments but couldn't get it. I want to turn it while its on but I'm afraid for it to touch me and do something.

yeah getting a larger focus adapter makes it easier but also doing it at night helps. you cant see the beam in the sun so you cant tell when its focused to infinity too well. wait until it gets dark and try it outside without safety glasses but make sure its pointed skyward and their are no air crafts around. promise it will be easier

if that was my battery, it;d go right in the trash! batteries are cheap enough, buy some new ones and save your laser from possible damage!
