For sale: NEW 2.5+W Dominator, 1x26650 blue laser.

It took about 10 days to arrive here, perfect build for me...

But I like copper head more than aluminum head so I buy another Dominator with copper head

as well.

Copper head is a bit more pricey than aluminum's but it is worth it.

I can't wait to see my Copper one.

Wow, Blord, I see you even go so far as to put little tiny copper heat sinks on parts of the driver, very good. I will for sure be getting one of these at some point, so feel free build another. How many lasers have you built? have you lost track yet?
 
I have Dominators in stock. They will have black anodized aluminium heatsink.
A free 3.7V 26650 4000mAh li-ion rechargeable cell and charger still apply for each laser.
And the best part is that the price stays the same. :)

Get at least one more of the copper ones if you can, I will be getting one of these from you. I am happy to pay more for copper, though I suspect the price will only increase. No hurry

How likely is it for a 9mm diode to achieve 3W minimum?

Also, I really will not need batteries or charger, I already have a good one, with variable current charging (great if you don't want to wait all day for one or two high capacity 18650 or 26650 to charge) Plus, my king kongs are 4200mAh, though they are unprotected and flat top. Seriously, I'm not asking for a price reduction, but I don't want them. On the really small chance customs inspects it, at least they wont be able to power it up
 
A new Dominator with an aluminium heatsink needs a new home. The price is $360 with one 4000mAh 26650 li-ion rechargeable battery and charger.
Tracked mail is $25 and the PP fee is on me. :)

Yup. I'm 62, retired a year ago and have a Wicked Lasers Arctic, 200mw green pointer, their torch flashlight and from Wallbuys a few amazingly cheap 200mw green pointers and a 1W blue one for $120. Yes I'm responsible: I don't aim up into the sky where I might blind a pilot and I'm careful to never aim at people, pets or reflective/shiny things or stare at the spot. Speaking of which, could you sell me some safety glasses for 532nm green? Thanks!
 
62 is old enough. :)
I have safety goggles for the green 532nm laser. They are the same as for the 445nm laser. PM me for details.

How much more is the copper heat sink vs the aluminum version?

Also, what can this 3W version do that the 2.2W can't?

Just trying to figure out which one to get.

The copper sink upgrade is $50. The output will drop less faster than the aluminium sink but nevertheless it will drop.

The Dominators are rated for 2.5+Watt for 4 minutes. I never said it was rated for 3+ watt. :thinking:
Some Dominators can reach 3Watt but that isn't the goal.
 
I need one , to kill them freakin Aptasia that are all over my tank..
