Look at Mount Everest in extreme detail.

That's very cool! Makes you feel like your actually there. Thanks for sharing the link.

It's hard to fathom the scale... considering those blue and orange specs on the bottom are actually rather large tents.

My dad just told me about that today But i could not find it thanks for posting.

Edit what is the size of it ( how many gigapixels) I cant find that.

Wow you can even see the climbers walking up from the camps!

That pic is awesome.

I'm an armchair adventurer and wanna be mountain climber. I'm watching the series "Everest: Byond the Limit" right now on Netflix, and its awesome. Check it out if you get a chance. :)

There is a small village on the right side, a group of building. Who want to live there at extreme altitude ? I have been on 4600m altitude and you can surely feel the lack of oxygen.

Gonna be on 5500m next March :)

I was in South America a few years back and did a 2 day solo assent up El Misty in Peru. I was acclimatised to 4000 - 5000 m, having spent most of my time on high altitude treks. El Misty is 5985 m and the last 500 m was hard going...;) Unfortunately, I didnt break the 6000 m or 20,000 ft barrier...:(
